Specialty Museum Museum
Detailing the peculiar Hindu heritage of coastal Vietnam, Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture houses the largest collection of Cham artifacts in the world, with exquisite pieces ranging from the 2nd to 15th century CE. Featuring some 300 stone and terracotta pieces, the museum showcases masterpieces of Indic carving and architecture with elaborate ornaments rescued from Angkor Wat and My Son after a week of U.S. carpet bombing in August 1969. The 1919 French colonial building includes a large sculpture garden with highly ornate mythical creatures set in stone. Get one of the audio guides in English (you'll need to show ID), and afterwards browse souvenir replicas of altars and lingas. • Just a room with a few Buddhist sculptures ,not really much of a museum .the only interesting part is some photos of the original temple  more »
  • It's rather disappointing. We have been my son before the day we visited the museum. It's absolutely the same thing and in fact the museum at my son has got more information than this.  more »
  • Very intersted when vistited there, where we can explore Cham's architecture and Cham's culture. Its in town, near Dragon Bridge, awesome!  more »

  • Small museum with little information or context. Beautiful sculptures. Audio guide was neither entertaining nor engaging. Monotonous. Order and position of sculptures was hard to follow and locate along with the audio guide. Tickets were inexpensive.
  • A small but nice museum, takes about an hour to see everything, which is about all I can take in before it all starts to look the same. I would highly suggest the $1 audio guide to help learn more about what you are seeing. Located at the tail end of the dragon bridge
  • Amazing artifacts from Cham civilisation. Pay the extra dollar for audio guide. It is worth it.
  • Pretty small place at one end of the dragon bridge. Nice displays but would hardly need 30 mins to see it all. 2$ per person isn't a lot.
  • Very neat little museum. Can wander around and look at some old sculptures. Would be a short stop, just not a must have detour.
