Ba Na Hills SunWorld, Da Nang

3.8
Take the longest single-cable car ride in the world to reach a replica of a French castle at Ba Na Hills SunWorld, a hill station and a theme park resort in the Annamite Range. Originally founded in 1919 by French colonists, the hill station turned resort now offers a number of theme parks, ranging from a fantasy dino-park area to a provincial European village. An impressive 27 m (88.5 ft) tall white statue of a Shakyamuni Buddha sits perched on the top, overlooking thick jungle and silky waterfalls. You can watch 5D movies, choose an international restaurant, or play numerous interactive family or individual games. The 15-minute cable ride totaling 5,801 m (19,032 ft) in length provides fantastic scenery. • I have an unforgettable memory of my visit to Ba Na Hills. It is an extraordinarily beautiful place with great things to see and nice restaurants for lunch or dinner.  more »
  • We were there on a foggy day. At the ticket booth they warned us the weather was "bad up there" and asked if we still wanted to go. We asked if all the attractions were open and i specifically asked.....  more »
  • Hello! This is a place up in the mountains where they have built a fake french village. It is way to expensive. Suuuper crowded. You have to line for everything and we went on low season... So...  more »

  • To be honest, this place is quite a surprise. A part the fact that they cut down all the top of the mountain to create this park, the park itself is quite impressive. It's big, a lot of thing to do for any ages, the view and the bridge on sunny day are spectacular. The park (and french village) is very well done, with the same level of details in the architecture as a Disneyland would be. Inside the attractions and scenery are Al free (the ticket is 750 000vnd) and there is really a lot of things to do. On a side note, would have been great if it was possible to hike on top of the village, but you can't you must use the cable (which is really long). Also, do not go up if it's not a clear day, you miss half of the stuff (panorama, sunset and some activities might be closed)
  • Enjoyed my time here with my girlfriend. It was a bit foggy when we arrive and got even foggier as we’re about to leave. It was also very cold so better wear some thick clothes if you’re visiting during cold season. The french village was very beautiful and Instagram-worthy, felt like I was in a different country. There are a lot of restaurants around representing different cuisines. We ate at the Little Tokyo (Japanese and Korean BBQ buffet) as it was part of our voucher. The food was decent. There are also a lot of entertainment in there from arcades to rides. Definitely a place to visit. We reached the place around 11am and we didn’t have enough time to explore and try everything there when we left around 5pm+. We’ll definitely come back again!
  • This has been one of the best favor I gave to myself. Worth to pay and enjoy a great day and evening. Seek for a clear day but foggy atmosphere was also impressive to me.
  • Commercially very successful place as the Hand-bridge is a very creative attraction. Other than that, other attractions like French Village, the wine cellar and garden are all quite ordinary. Overall, it may be good to spend the day there if the weather is good. Otherwise, if the weather is uncertain, there is no need to regret passing this up.
  • For the best experience, book a night in the hotel at the top of mountain well in advance. Wake up early, have breakfast then visit the golden bridge before the hoards arrive. You won't regret it. No waiting in any cues for the awesome cable car ride up or back. Alternatively, just go for the day and stand in line for hours and then share the bridge with 1000's of others. Great bar below the hotel with good happy hour. Walk outside to an awe inspiring site after dark. We visited in late September and it was considerably cooler than Hoi An.
