Ba Na Hills, Da Nang
Categories: Geologic Formations, Nature & Parks
Take the longest single-cable car ride in the world to reach a replica of a French castle at Ba Na Hills, a hill station and a theme park resort in the Annamite Range. Originally founded in 1919 by French colonists, the hill station turned resort now offers a number of theme parks, ranging from a fantasy dino-park area to a provincial European village. An impressive 27 m (88.5 ft) tall white statue of a Shakyamuni Buddha sits perched on the top, overlooking thick jungle and silky waterfalls. You can watch 5D movies, choose an international restaurant, or play numerous interactive family or individual games. The 15-minute cable ride totaling 5,801 m (19,032 ft) in length provides fantastic scenery. Add Ba Na Hills and other attractions to your Da Nang trip itinerary using our Da Nang itinerary planner.
