Covering 850 ha (2,100 ac), Tra Su Bird Sanctuary is a place is for nature lovers, bird enthusiasts and a natural habitat for many a variety of birds and animals. The wetlands can be explored via a short speedboat ride and a short paddle through the narrow channels with 140 species of plant life, and 130 species of animal life to be seen. Traversing deeper into the forest, keep your eye out for storks, herons, kingfishers and other wading birds. The Cajeput trees and their intertwining roots provide a natural spectacle as well as the variety of nests in the canopies.
