Bac Ha Market, Bac Ha

(4.3/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
A flurry of color and community bursts into life every Sunday at Bac Ha Market. A bustling spectacle of North Vietnamese village culture, the market serves as the weekly meeting place for many ethnic minority groups, including the brightly dressed Flower Hmong, Phi La, and Black Dao peoples. Arrive early for an authentic taste of the market, surrounded by the sounds and smells of chickens, buffalo, and goats being traded amongst the villagers. Try your hand at bartering for some locally made handicrafts, before picking up a bite to eat at one of the many food stalls. • Overall, we had a drive of 7 hours to visit this market. For the visit to the market, we were then two hours time, but were ready after an hour. As the dimension not of Sapa from just fits. Otherwise it is basically, a traditional market if you live nearby, is quite worth seeing. Our guide, which has belongs to a minority, was something the food discouraged us to eat. It looked really anything as tasty and for us also not defined what is it for a meat. Then we have satisfied us with fruit. Really bad. The sale of the sweet puppies was very bad for us. Us declared that they are eaten with 5 kilos. Unimaginable as dog owners and animal lovers. The day for us was gone.
