  • I had seen the place postcards, first, on a tour, visit the castle of santa rosa, I asked the Guide and he told me that the place you were looking for was in Juan Griego, but no... then visit the strong San Carlos, very beautiful also, but it was not what I wanted... until at last you look on the internet as is llamaria this beautiful place and eureka! name always keep it: PAMPATAR, as is marked in many of the vessels, besides that its sound is bombastic, already there, the ascent is nice, buildings and very nice apartments are, they have the best view of Porlamar and its Bay. the work is majestic, impressive view, delight the cliffs and the immensity of the sea. at the entrance to find an indicator of distances and cities, suitable for the photo and ask yourself: what will be the next target? Humm... just life and the adventurous spirit knows it... There is a commemorative plaque of Commander Chavez to me was recorded and reads more or less: "sovereignty is not a permanent condition, automatic, we always have to be vigilant and take necessary steps to defend it, who lower the guard runs the risk of losing" ayayay... If so think the ruling of colombia... that lost our san Andres... well Finally, climb the Lighthouse is a panoptical feeling, you can look up already climbing on top you look at going up stairs, there are several observatories as you Ascend, already on the roof, the view is unmatched, East Beach, the cliff to the West, the sea to the South, the city to the North, suitable for many photos, the best of the island...

  • I lived in Margarita for 7 years, toured the island many times, and I can say that the view of the lighthouse there anywhere else. There are many beautiful views which can be enjoyed on this island but the lighthouse cannot be see, also a stroll in Pampatar is something that can not be done.
