  • When live in Merida Sunday we liked going to walk to the Plaza Bolivar had a very quiet, but this time was until they burst not is if by the date December but I didn't like the bit of hawkers and shops that put... front of the governorate had an exhibition of art with recycled figures were made with metal rubbers cans etc had a Hulk , a motorbike, a gorilla, a bird, a high bicycle that if it was good to see it they asked for collaboration of Bs 200 per family to take pictures, it was worth paying them...!

  • And always full of surprises. Although it may look a little dirty, don't get carried away by that trivial, because it is only in very few places. This square is the heart of the city, is beautiful. To a side have craftsmen and of the other kiosks of books, in an of them corners when we were in January could see a group of sculptures made with material recycled really beautiful. If you have kids feed the pigeons will be your biggest fun. Don't eat sighs that sold in the surrounding area. The great are exquisite.

  • The plaza has an air very special, because is is facing the beautiful Basilica minor, jewel architectural of the city of them Knights. Surrounded by boulevards, they make it a very pleasant place to sit and breathe fresh air or simply talk. There we can also find the araguaney Pope Juan Pablo II, planted during his visit to the city of Merida in January 1985.

  • This is the most beautiful Plaza Bolívar from all the Bolivarian Venezuela. It is very well preserved old buildings from the time of the colony, all Center, and they are world heritage. It is a must-see for every visitor, good food, friendly atmosphere and romantic.
