Categories: Landmarks, Tourist Spots
Inspirock Rating:
4/5 based on 360+ reviews on the web
Take the mountain road up Pico el Aguila Venezuela to gain spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and enjoy the otherworldly atmosphere at this landmark point, 4,000 m (13,123 ft) above sea level. Marked by a yellow monument, on top of which sits a statue of a condor, this is the highest point any road reaches in the country, and its views are well worth the journey. Expect cold and windy condition regardless of the weather down below, and keep in mind that some visitors experience altitude sickness while exploring the area. A visit to Pico el Aguila Venezuela represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Merida trip builder to plot your vacation.

  • Beautiful scenery, beautiful weather... Arriving at Eagle peak your mind is cleared completely and just look and enjoy the view in the company of a couple or family.

  • Go to Merida in automobile and not go to Eagle peak is unthinkable, had gone several times in childhood and adolescence but the truth I was much disappointed, the place looks neglected, we note they have not done a refresh or have improved the place. In the only restaurant causes take the classic hot chocolate, the rest is not appealing. Since it is the highest TRANS road should improve the place.
