(4/5 based on 420+ reviews on the web)
Take the mountain road up Pico el Aguila Venezuela to gain spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and enjoy the otherworldly atmosphere at this landmark point, 4,000 m (13,123 ft) above sea level. Marked by a yellow monument, on top of which sits a statue of a condor, this is the highest point any road reaches in the country, and its views are well worth the journey. Expect cold and windy condition regardless of the weather down below, and keep in mind that some visitors experience altitude sickness while exploring the area. • I was with my family no more than 15 mi to the typical photo with the Eagle. Normal cold and street vendors. Important is that lowering the peak towards merida prices of fruits and sweets are more economical in the same city

  • Eagle peak, is one of the natural attractions most visited by tourists and of the city of Mérida seekers apart from the typical cold, a place to have fun, share, take a stroll between frailejones and mountains, there are places to rent horses, shelters for drinks features in the area "calentaditos" and eating wheat arepitas among other options such as Andean pinch or a good trout with garlic, in addition to having a cold paramo (more than 4,000 meters of altitude) landscapes reveal places to take pictures with a spectacular nature

  • Very good choice for family rides, to note for persons with respiratory deficiency that oxygen is less dense, avoid running or shaken.
