(4/5 based on 420 reviews on the web)
Take the mountain road up Pico el Aguila Venezuela to gain spectacular views of the surrounding landscape and enjoy the otherworldly atmosphere at this landmark point, 4,000 m (13,123 ft) above sea level. Marked by a yellow monument, on top of which sits a statue of a condor, this is the highest point any road reaches in the country, and its views are well worth the journey. Expect cold and windy condition regardless of the weather down below, and keep in mind that some visitors experience altitude sickness while exploring the area. A visit to Pico el Aguila Venezuela represents just the start of the adventure when you use our Merida trip builder to plot your vacation.

  • A place with historical importance and consequently is a place you need to know, however the surrounding area is full of informal economy which can be a little annoying. @abasg09 #APasear

  • The road is beautiful, there are all kinds of typical food, trips to Carballo, and care breathing. Ride that is worth the penalty

  • The ascent is quite long but even if all you see is a monument the atmosphere is pleasantly cold... for those who live in the heat it's a time to appreciate the nature and the diversified in our country... for once is enough...!
