  • The beautiful wilderness of the cylinder head is located a few minutes from the city of Merida. Since one leaves the city starts to enjoy the extraordinary scenery of the beautiful typical houses of the area, nice places where to enjoy delicious food and a very pleasant climate. All the trajectory, although short, is really pleasant. Mountain light, mist and the picturesque houses of the area make that parts of the route are magical, presenting images of dream. These beautiful Merida landscapes convey clearly the greatness of the Andean lands. Where the huge mountains lie imposing, dominating the landscape of the spectacular greenery characteristic of the area. Páramo La Culata is an ecoregion of Andean paramo, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada of Merida, to the North of the city of Mérida, Venezuela. At a height of msnm 4.173 Páramo La Culata, it is one of the Andean Highlands high in Venezuela. You can reach easily all this identified, there are small restaurants and STRAWBERRIES with cream where you can stop and eat the landscape you entertaining maintained that not really clock to return also can return to the city of merida and continue .debes venir.este village called TORONDOY has a great vantage point you can see the cold cities, and colonial, is a place to rest

  • In the end of the eponymous Valley road you descend from your taxi or bus and find small stalls of artisans, with gochos you proponents a horseback ride. It is also a starting point for the Highlands and you can make a good trip to the Páramo los muertos or even further, to the waterfall of los duendes. Think of camping to go further. The place is safe, to the waterfall. (I mean it's hard to get lost, even by time of mist). On the other hand if you go further, consider a guide. (last visit prior to 2016)
