La Playa El Agua, Margarita Island
(3.3/5 based on 950+ reviews on the web)
Walk on the gold sand of La Playa El Agua, or recline on a deck chair at one of many restaurants sheltered by huge palm trees. The 4 km (2.5 mi) long strand of sand, lined with bars, restaurants, and shops, remains the most popular resort on Margarita Island, favored by locals and tourists alike. Watch the local anglers or cool off with a freshly squeezed juice or coconut milk. If you wish to take a dip, note that the seabed is quite uneven and jagged in this area, where many undercurrents can interfere with your swimming. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Margarita Island holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the La Playa El Agua and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • The beach is spectacular, quiet, with appropriate personnel of hotel Hesperia playa pending guests water at all times, both security as lifeguards. They have very good service of umbrellas, chairs and sun beds, dressers, in very good condition without any discomfort. He life is who it attends to one in all time, lends help and indicates what need.
