The State of the square is sad. Like its surroundings, neglect, laziness and neglect. Would never recommend going alone, especially if they do not know the city.

The Plaza of the good master, in others times was a beautiful and entertaining ride where both them families maracaiberas as them tourists is delighted of beautiful views of the Lake of Maracaibo, considered the more large of Latin America, of its breeze fresh and served to walk, meet is and share them in love. Once existed at the end of their journey that culminated in Lake, a source of water that consisted of a very strong blast of water with such a height that the Fort breeze took the water and they had to remove it by visitors is wet. Formerly it was the site where seaplanes first arrived in the city. today few visit it by some uncertainty that exists in the area, so it is recommended to visit it in large groups of people. Currently visit the more than all of the parents who have children because one side of the square there is an amusement park for children under 12 years old and is also found on the other side the Park marina, widely used in the early hours of the afternoon to make walking and exercising. In spite of be careless even is taking good photos of their facilities and of the Lake.

Abandoned and neglected in entirety. Very careful because there is a police checkpoint near the place only and looks very unsafe.

This place is completely abandoned and is unsafe to be in hours afternoon but by its view and location gives it 3 stars, if this place had better maintenance and police care would be one of the best areas of Maracaibo

Where to stay in Maracaibo

Stay near the town center if you're into colonial architecture and history, but expect to pay a high price for the privilege of sleeping in a prime location. Basic motels offer a decent compromise between price and quality and draw mostly business travelers and tourists passing through Maracaibo on the way to somewhere else. If you wish to stay affordably for a few days, check into a mid-range hotel near one of the metro stations.
