4.5/5 based on 130+ reviews on the web
See an authentic German-style church nestled at the heart of a provincial Venezuelan town at Saint Martin's Church (La Iglesia de San Martin). Built in the 1850s by German immigrants, the church features a typical Bavarian design, epitomized by its wooden exterior painted white with black stripes. In a town dotted with German-style buildings, this church remains the standout. Head to the nearby restaurant to try some authentic German and Polish cuisine. Research the history of the area beforehand as no guides in English or Spanish are provided at the church. • Did not know but the chapel which is on the side that is the one that usually is open, but where they carry out the masses, left me fascinated. A beautiful, very modern, but at the same time welcoming church. It was a pleasure to discover it.

  • It's a nice quiet place Not much to see there though. They have a little Park in front of it where you could sit and chill with friends but that's about it.
  • Go and know the Church and the Centre of the unique municipality self-sustaining of Venezuela, apart from that its history is very interesting.
