  • A good Castle from the period colonial, the area is very unsafe, you have to be outstanding, beautiful view of the city

  • Attractive Castle built in the era colonial, is keeps very well and there are many things that learn, the view of the city is excellent! But careful! Do not walk just outside the Castle since it is very dangerous red zone. Accompanied by a taxi driver or a guide.

  • It should be alert with the safety factor, if you go to the Castle and don't see more than 3 families at the site, better or you go down truck... don't you let stay single (a) there. Is a site very pretty, full of history, with a beautiful view. Hopefully security in Venezuela and in Cumana improve so that we can give a good boost to domestic tourism. We have sites, what they lack is eager to work.

  • Despite the beauty of the building, the abandonment is visible. This attached to the Interior of the State of Sucre. Surrounded by a popular area where crime is a serious matter. It is advisable to go early. The guides are experts in history and his work is excellent. The castle is guarded by the police, and has a small art gallery in the foothills of the castle which has no attention to the public always.

  • Okay, a pity that this so abandoned, many Parties closed to the public and security officials. It is close to 2 dangerous neighborhoods so you should take precautions when visiting it, somewhat difficult to reach. It would be ideal signalling and safety.

  • Great time to meet and see off the first city founded by Europeans in America. Recommend going and back from taxi (close to the driver for time to wait) the area is kind of weird.

  • If you come to Cumaná and no visits to the strong SADLE, you not visited Cumaná or Sucre

  • The strong San Antonio of the eminence is a historic icon linked to the identity of the city of Cumaná, which may not be visited by tourists especially for being one of the few buildings of its kind remaining in the country. It is very important to note that every year, the strong becomes part of the scene of the famous festivals of "The nights of yesteryear", which gives it a privileged status to this building for its symbolism and its value, both in history and in tourism development.
