  • From the marques de the city of caracas, we climbed to the National Park el Avila day December 31, 2016, we arrived at the Park guard post Julia to the 12 m, and one afternoon started the tour peak, passing through different points such as, viewpoint, tank, waterfall eden, the Esplanade, the mole guerig , and arriving at the orquijo, we were already very close to the master row, by por ser be event organizer I play waiting for a mate a bit heavy coming but that his courage did not stop her to follow towards the peak. When we reach the row, they were almost six o'clock, I played out my flashlight and go at night by the row of Avila, and after two hours of slow pass, arrived at the Amphitheater, with a strong wind we got ready to pitch the tent, and at 11:30 pm we went to celebrate the end of year at Naiguatá peak 2765msm has high, cold Freezable but a happiness that gave you an emotional heat 3 2 1 was swift and felizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz anoooooooooooooooooooooo, shout in the midst of excitement and happiness. a moment that never forget and no doubt was recorded in my memory.

  • Ávila is the huge wave that stood as one of the legends of the ancient inhabitants of the mountain, if you have attitude for trekking to embark on the adventure of exploring each of its trails, hiking (4-8 hours) that allow you to cycle through several peaks and see the sea and the city in panoramic. But, you can reach one of its peaks in cable car in 15 minutes from the city of Caracas will have the opportunity to relax with extensive views towards the sea from the coast on the one hand and, on the other hand, the sultana, arising from above gentle and serene.

  • No es un lugar turístico
  • The most important natural park in Caracas city (and Vargas). Many hicking paths, also can be accesed in 4x4 jeeps or using the "teleférico". Higly recommended. It is more enjoyable if you choose non-hollydays to go (less crowded).
  • As a local, this mountain range means a lot to us. Most locals love to climb this mountain any day of the week but mainly on the weekend. If you don't feel don't like making the 3 hour hike to the top (Moderate hiker), you can always take the very enjoyable cable car. Lots of food and great views at the top. I recommend buying the local wine ;)
  • Hiking and View are amazing, you also can camping weather is nice all year just raining can be a inconvenient.
  • Great view of El valle...it's a shame that the Humboldt is not working neither the teleférico
