  • Recently restored and changed the name to which but it is those places where Governments can strive in rename but people still calling as it was originally called or is actually called El Calvario. When I was a child a few years ago, visited him frequently on Sundays and was a beautiful vegetation and beautiful ride, that always had cultural events, street music, puppets, mini-plays, etc.

  • A friend invited me to join an excursion to the El Calvario Park, organized by Fundhea. I honestly went without any expectations, even with fear. Arriving at Metro of silence, scheduled meeting for the exit point, we have a well nourished people group that wanted to go also. The result? A visit well directed from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm. A place restored in excellent maintenance conditions; clean, nice and interesting views of the city of Caracas. A plus is that there was a lot of security. That missing? A place where you can sit a drink while enjoying the view of the city. A bit of signage and posters that tell the story of each Monument, sculpture, church or garden. It would repeat the visit? Absolutely Yes, without hesitation.

  • If you are in Caracas don't miss this wonderful park which saves a lot of two Presidents (Antonio Guzmán Blanco and Joaquín Crespo) ego, of our history, that Caracas that went from the colonial to the modernist. Full of gardens, fountains, statues, children's Park and a natural viewpoint of Caracas, which you should not miss... Welcome to my city!
