  • Who goes to the Canaima National Park should not let go of this jump. First it's pretty easy to find him, just follow the signs. Second you need to know if it's rainy season or not. Well, I went a day after three long days of rain and simply everything was phenomenal, I don't know how dry spell, but the other advisors say it's very good too. Tip 01 of Advisor: Alert to who's next for Venezuela to be a little careful and always look for the tabs, since the normal ride cars suffer abuse (I saw several). 02: Tip Went with Backpackers, they are really cool.

  • Greetings, when visiting the Parque Nacional Canaima Sector East Gran Sabana, it is important to plan stops. In our case went from Maturín, well early in the morning and toured until Kama Meru. Important if you're particular truck carries a container for 20 liter gasoline (Sedan) or 40 liters (trucks). It ideal is pass the section that goes from the output of Upata to the Km 88 and the Claritas of day (since that sector is very dangerous hear it insecurity). It is important to supply vehicle fuel at different gas stations, usually long queues are made for this purpose, in addition they are militarised. Already in the own Gran Sabana, you can enjoy the landscape beauties, rivers waterfalls and the culture of the Pemón. Kama Meru, is a spectacular waterfall of some 50 meters, you will find basic accommodation and service of restaurant (can also bring their food and logistic equipment and cooking) there can take to Arapan Meru (Quebrada Pacheco) quick Kamoirán, Jaspe Creek, San Francisco de Yuruani, to enjoy the natural beauty and the icy waters that are sources of eternal youth. Also went to Santa Elena of Uairen, where visited the House of them crystals, its helmet historical and observe the dynamic border between Venezuela and Brazil. From there, we crossed the border and entered Villa Pacaraima (line) in the Federal Republic of Brazil. Despite the deterioration that is evident in La Gran Sabana, still constitutes an environmental space that all Venezuelan should visit. Remember deposited waste from garbage in the places established for that purpose. Use lip balm. Insect-repellent. Get vaccinated against yellow fever at least 10 days before the trip. You have to bring cash (as well as prudence and caution) carries drinking water
