Salto el sapo, Canaima National Park

(4.8/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Climb behind a roaring waterfall at Salto el sapo. As you approach the waterfall you'll get a grand view of the falls, but you can also snap photos from the observation areas above and below the falls. The biggest attraction here is the path going behind the waterfall. Be prepared as the water comes down with a lot of force, and be sure to keep hold of the guide rope to stay safe on the slippery path. Wear a bathing suit and waterproof your belongings before going under, as you are sure to get wet. Put Salto el sapo and other Canaima National Park attractions into our Canaima National Park trip generator, and watch your holiday take shape.

  • To reach this waterfall you must navigate in curiosity Canaima lagoon and walk a little to then go behind the waterfall which is a really incredible experience, then you walk a little to see the jump from above where you have a spectacular view of the jump, the lagoon of Canaima and the Tepuis. Excellent a tour that should not be peder for nothing! To take photos in all the journey it is recommended to take waterproof camera to water or any guard where to put it.
