It is a design of the Venezuelan architect fruit alive with a set of 16 petals that can open and close. It is inspired in the Tepuys of the Gran Sabana of Venezuela and the national flower of Venezuela, the orchid. It has many gardens and forests representative of Venezuela, fish tanks, a library and an amphitheater. The structure represented Venezuela at the world expo in Hannover, Germany in the year 2000. It was gradually transferred to Venezuela starting in 2006 and opened in its present position in 2008 as a property of the Venezuelan State, who granted it bailed to the governorate of Lara state.
