  • Actually the moment that I liked is when I saw it last night from the hotel with a set of lights impress... I left the hotel and was already closed... I went back the next day and day is nothing otherworldly... it has a dirty pesceras amount and a sort of Museum that makes missing more explanation...

  • The Flor de Venezuela is a place with an impressive structure to take some good pictures, but very badly used, travel can be done from the entrance to top in 15 minutes, on the outside, there is a "Socialist" ice cream Coppelia and there is also a bakery-Café, inside on the ground floor there are many pictures of ordinary people as reflecting the country's diversity , also there is a flat acrylic with a map of Venezuela, some models of flower, empty tanks and a mini exhibition of archaeology of the area, then you go down the stairs (the elevator is only for people with disabilities) and on the first level there are many tanks with a variety of fish and plants of Venezuelans rivers and some pieces by local artists , on the second floor are most aquariums and aquatic plants from there you can see part of this and center of Barquisimeto (get good pictures at sunset) then already started down the ramp that surrounds the flower by the external and ready part that is all. I think that they should do more entertaining travel show as you assemble the structure and as lucia in the exhibition in Hanover, how work hydraulic arms that open and close the flower shows every 1/2 hour of open and close it, might also place a place where children know about weather, winds and temperatures. This is my opinion!

  • It is a new icon of the city. The Flor de Venezuela, officially the Venezuela flower Cultural Center, also called Alternatively Flor de Hanóver is a structure located in the area known as the triangle of the East in the city of Barquisimeto, capital of the State of Lara in the Centre West of the South American country of Venezuela. It is a design of the Venezuelan architect fruit alive with a set of 16 petals that can open and close. It is inspired in the Tepuys of the Gran Sabana of Venezuela and the national flower of Venezuela, the orchid. It has many gardens and forests representative of Venezuela, fish tanks, a library and an amphitheater. The structure represented Venezuela at the world expo in Hannover, Germany in the year 2000. It was gradually transferred to Venezuela starting in 2006 and opened in its present position in 2008 as a property of the Venezuelan State, who granted it bailed to the governorate of Lara state.
