Diver and non-divers alike will enjoy a vacation at Hideaway Island Marine Reserve, a place where guests can swim, snorkel, dive, and relax in the water. This attraction is more than just accommodation. It offers three scheduled dives a day, but if you would rather stay close to shore, take time to discover the beach's beautiful secret. The coral reef just off shore is teeming with tropical fish and bright coral. Remember to wear reef shoes and be careful of the sharp coral. Also be aware that visiting to swim requires a fee.   • We visited Hideaway for the day (morning) and it was beautiful. As it is a resort, it is quite Westernised and there aren't many (or any) locals around who don't work there so don't go for the culture...  more »
  • Beautiful, chilled, gorgeous. Amazing snorkelling! The signature coconut curry is delicious. It's a coral beach, so take reef shoes or at least thongs.  more »
