Chorsu Bazaar, Tashkent
(4.1/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web)
Indulge in spices, jewelry, handicrafts, and homemade bread, all sold under the large ornate turquoise dome of Chorsu Bazaar, a traditional covered farmers' market in the center of old Tashkent. Concentric circles of various stands offer a variety of daily necessities in this bustling bazaar. Browse leather jackets and souvenirs, sample dried fruit and nuts, and mingle with families doing their daily shopping. Historically, this has been one of the busiest markets in Central Asia, and the shopping area spills into the area surrounding the dome. You can also shop for ceramics, national costumes, and tubeteika caps. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Chorsu Bazaar and many more Tashkent attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Tashkent itinerary maker.

  • One of the few major markets (bazaars) saturated local sweets, fruit, vegetables, etc. Having indescribable tastes. It is not frozen and not those immature products that are bought in the northern latitudes. The same Tomato you will seem quite different in a positive way.
