  • Gumbaz Synagogue was on my itinerary simply because Lonely Planet which I'd ben relying on for planing this stage of my trip enthusiastically recommended it. It took a bit of effort on my own locating...  more »
  • Last week I traveled to Bukhara and went to synagogue I was well received on Shabbos 15 people beautiful but small and old.

  • This synagogue has some historical significance in that it is one of the only remaining ones in Samarkand. BUT there isn't really much to see. It is small and run down and in need of some serious TLC.
