  • The Museum is located on the territory of the current excavations. The age of the settlement dates from 4 century b.c. excavations have nothing to watch themselves, at least for the layperson. But inside the Museum you will find a lot of interesting things. The focus, of course, the work of restorers to restore murals describing a certain amount of time the ancient State.

  • We always had but moderate experience with museums in Central Asia, but this museum is well worth a visit. A woman who could some English led us around and told a lot about the fine collection of archaeological finds that we could find. Great exhibition on the murals of Afrosiab.
