Where to stay in Khiva

Whether you're looking to experience local culture or want a more upscale hotel experience, you'll find many types of accommodations in Khiva. Staying in a guesthouse or rental lets you really engage with the city, without spending a ton of money. If traveling with a tour group, you will most likely stay in a modern hotel. Book ahead for travel in spring or fall, the tourism high season. During the off-months fewer hotels stay open, but you also have far fewer tourists to compete with.
