  • Looking very nice in this citadel as the Khan has lived with his retinue. Individual backyards, such as lobby oder.die mosque, etc. just wonderful, like the entire OASIS khiva.

  • Beautiful monument with amazing decorations and mosaics. From the roof, the view on the whole city of Khiva is excellent.  more »
  • The fortress is among 16 places to visit in the integrated ticket through the old city of Khiva. In addition to the ceremonial courtyard, coated bright tiles, with the Foundation for yurts and avian (Loggia), look, in my opinion, especially nothing. But on the territory of the fortress is the climb to the observation deck at several levels, including and a loggia, which is visible from many places in the city. It is one of three places where you have to pay an additional amount per visit. Climb the observation deck was worth at the beginning of May 6 000 soums or 1.5 dollars per person. But the US gave rise there twice during the day and at sunset, because when the evening illumination wall in Khiva look even greener. And at first I was not going to plod on stairs, but selling tickets woman vigorously began to persuade me, for that I am eternally grateful to her, and as a result has risen to the top twice. A zindan (prison) is not on the territory of the Citadel, and before her entrance. A few mannequins, a pair of weapons-not too exciting and rich.
