  • The Chor-Bakr monument is located 8 km west of Bukhara in the village of Sumitan. Chor-Bakr is like a "dead City", with streets, Courtyades, Gates, family graves. Perhaps it is not as rich as the city of Samkandi dead, but its function is similar. The monumental monument commemorate the honor of Abu Bakr Sayad in the tenth century, which can be regarded as the founder of the Dzsujbari dynasty. From the time of the Samanids, the Dzsujbari Sehok (who were directly descendants of the Prophet through Fatima) filled the highest public posts in Buhara. As he was always honorable to be close to prominent people, this was the case with the dead, so they tried to bury him as closely as possible to the honorable ecclesiastical people. This is how the memorial site has evolved and has grown steadily. The central location of the memorial is occupied by the mosque, the Hanaka (House of Islamic monks, where they could pray, but also occupied the function of the Pilgrim's accommodation, or hospitalizations, perhaps known in Hungarian as the Tekke) and the Madrasza, which was given in the 16th. Century II. Abdulla was under the reign of Hán. Abdullah Khan II devoted special attention to Chor-Baku because he and his father, Iskander Khan, regarded themselves as spiritual disciples of the Bakr church leaders, who were the leaders of the Muslims in Buharai. This is how 4 Bakr church leaders are buried here. The mosque and the halls of Hanaka are covered with many smaller and larger domes. The interiors of the buildings are beautifully constructed, the right sides have been renovated for a few years, with special acoustics. If you are able to ask the prayer for service there, you may be experiencing this. THE XX. A small minaret was built in front of the 2 buildings.
