Art Museum Museum
Built and run by a wealthy merchant and his wife, Ralli Museumoffers a non-commercial art museum. You will not find a gift shop at this attraction, so simply take time to enjoy pieces of art from South American artists as well as several of Salvador Dali’s works. The collection mostly showcases paintings, but there are sculptures to see and pose next to as well. After you view the art, head out to one of the two gardens to end your experience here. • We find the Museum almost by chance, touring the area aimlessly fixed, we saw that it was open and we decided to enter, we have a complete work of his exhibitors from South America, is highly recommended for the exhibition of works by the year 1700, a good place to visit and tour

  • The Ralli Museum is located in the northern part of Punta del Este, has free entry, and has a great collection of works (paintings and sculptures) of artists from South America. My advice is get on their site to view the hours of operation, do vary during the year.

  • Impressive Museum set in the beautiful Beverly Hills area of Punta del Este. The collection is comprised mostly of modern art along with an zmazing collection of statues displayed in multiple courtyards. They're signature piece is a bronze statue by Salvador Dali immediately inside the main entrance. Also, the museum is non-profit, so there is no entrance fee.
  • Great place to see a good collection of Dali. Also some interesting South American artists. There is a free wifi hotspot near the outdoor Dali exhibit. Use your Android VPN after connecting.
  • Most likely the best art gallery in all of Punta del Este with free admission. Especially the sculpture garden (immediate right past entrance) has particular significance and also disposes of a free Wi-Fi area with benches to enjoy the tranquility of that lovely garden. The only place at the whole museum that gives you free Wi-Fi coverage, strangely enough. Place is in great shape and well worth a visit.
  • Que lindo este museo! Y gratis. Es increíble. A beautiful museum which is totally free. Amazing works of art inside and out. A must see if you visit Punta Del Este!
  • Great art and free. I could have spent the entre 4 hours that it was open there. **Note the hours are: Jan & Feb: Tues-Sun 5 to 9pm March & Easter: Tues-Sun 2 to 6pm Oct to Dec: Sat-Sun 2 to 6pm

Where to stay in Punta del Este

A major vacation destination, Punta del Este boasts a wide range of accommodation options, though most establishments remain relatively expensive even during the off-season. Summer marks the peak of tourism (December to March), and during that time even mid-range hotels charge top rates. Visitors with deeper pockets can choose from a number of three- and four-star hotels within walking distance of good beaches. If you're traveling on a tight budget, consider one of the hostels scattered throughout Punta del Este's residential neighborhoods.
