  • The port has a beautiful view to the beach. You can walk from there to the beach. Worth the visit.

  • Had read that Punta del leste start after 10 hours. But I wanted to see the seals and found that early would be better. It was a Sunday around 8:30 in the morning, nobody on the street! No one! All desert! Me and my husband we were walking when a car type Fiorino gray started following us. Seems unlikely to me that a place like something's going to happen, but the fact is that suspected car was following us, entered into a sort of parking and we shook the step, the car came out and kept following us. Luckily we found an entry and there were fishermen, we hasten and the car followed us, but when we enter where the fishermen, the car was gone. We were terrified, I don't know what the intention of that car, but avoid leaving early! We always think we're safe outside of Brazil, but not quite. After the shock, we can see what we find there: the seals, they gave a show and helped to calm down. Of course we were more than 1 hour there and we didn't come out the way we came in.

  • This time I didn't see the port as a promenade but as an indispensable place to buy fresh and healthy food. At its end, going down stairs you access the jobs of fishermen where to sell the newly lowered boats fish. While one waits his turn can feed sea lions that anxiously await the fish the same tenders you deliver so you throw them. A cute show while you buy fresh fish. Recommended meagre. It's amazing to be able to buy such fresh fish, has another aroma and flavor. If staying in a place that allows them to Cook, don't forget to try it, see that the experience is priceless.

  • Sunset spot. Fresh fish market.Sea lions protected and feeded by the local fisherman. Fishing boats, sailing boats and nice evening fotos in general.
  • Great place for walking. Beautiful water views. Nice downtown shopping areas and restaurants. Maybe rent a bike while you are there
  • Free wifi, kind of slow though and very windy
  • Un lugar con vistas fantásticas! Beautiful views abound. You'll find small shops selling fresh caught fish, trinkets, and the like along the port. You'll see sea lions begging for fish. If you wait until sunrise or sunset, you'll see a real treat!
  • Nice place to buy fish and see the Sea Wolfs
