Where to stay in Punta del Este

A major vacation destination, Punta del Este boasts a wide range of accommodation options, though most establishments remain relatively expensive even during the off-season. Summer marks the peak of tourism (December to March), and during that time even mid-range hotels charge top rates. Visitors with deeper pockets can choose from a number of three- and four-star hotels within walking distance of good beaches. If you're traveling on a tight budget, consider one of the hostels scattered throughout Punta del Este's residential neighborhoods.

  • I give it average because at the end the kids enjoyed it BUT depending who you are and where you´ve been, you can find this amazing or a reck!!! specially for the area like Punta del Este. The municip...  more »
  • Known in the area, huge public park dimensions. Away from the center of the city, en route to the bar. It is best reached by car. Neglected in various areas especially in the games of boys, feels that it has a few long years and they have not renewed it nor maintained. The best: the fresh air of the place full of green.

  • Ibamos a pasar una linda tarde de invierno. lamentablemente está muy venido a menos y hay unos cuantos perros enfermos de sarna.
  • Very poor maintenance. The "ladies" "working" in roads near the park should find a different place to do business or the police should relocate them!! Not appropriate for a place full of kids.
  • If you have children, don´t miss it. It is free open park with many entertainments for them.
  • Ok
  • VERY ASSORTED... WITH AN EXCELLENT DELI, BAKERY ETC... WHEN THEY PREPARE FOOD IN A VIEW IS ALSO EXCELLENT! GOOD PRICES AND SELF-SERVICE BOXES! VERY GOOD IDEA.
