  • Located in La Barra is worth the visit. Then just go to the lighthouse José Ignacio ... The collections are a bit mixed, so there is a visit to be made in a hurry, you must watch the stories of each item, so we understand the dedication of the founder. For biologists, like me, is a full plate, several skeletons of cetaceans, collections of mollusks merge the historical items. The insectary parde is also great. And I understand that kids love. Recommend! Open the 10:00 and costs 160 Uruguayan pesos.

  • The Museum is very good. There are several things related to sea, as animal species, Whale bones, navigation history, vikings, pirates and a bit of local history. It's pretty big and a very nice visit.

An amazing museum with many exhibits of sea animals and sea insects, plus a beetle museum attached. Historic photos and news are scattered throughout, along with much more. Very cool place!
