Los Dedos Playa Brava, Punta del Este

(3.3/5 based on 5,500+ reviews on the web)
Many people interpret Los Dedos Playa Brava as either a hand of a zombie god come to take his vengeance on a sinful Earth, or the grasping fingers of a buried giant. In fact, neither assumption is correct. Created by Chilean artist Mario Irrazabal in 1982, the beach sculpture has since become an iconic attraction in Punta del Este. Take an artistic photo of the sculpture and imagine all the mythical creatures it might represent. • In the summer you never will take a photo. Very full and to me this sculpture has a meaning stranger "is the last gesture of a drowned man" struck me as morbid. The beach and wonderful and all your edge. Don't waste time trying to take a picture.

  • It is a place ideal for taking photos, and take a souvenir of the place, this sculpture is an emblem of punta del este.

  • It is a nice place to take the typical picture of PDE. The problem is the amount of people who want to do the same. Is quite impossible to take you a photo to solo with the fingers, but is worth it penalty go. On the other hand, get you to the sea not is a great option, because the beach is very turbulent.
