  • Spectacular place to go to unwind and enjoy the nature and art. A completely exotic place, enter a field, full of sculptures, a Lake, trees, vegetation, and are free to wander wherever you want and how you want. Nobody tells you what to see, or how to view it. That has its charm. Totally free to your personal experience. Internal installations in buildings were closed. But you can take the field and enjoy it while also enjoying the sculptures. Very pleasant discovery. Ideal for sunny day, perfect for watching the sunset. You can spend between 1 and 2 hours (or more), depending on how you connect with the place and its art.

  • It's a Museum-Foundation-Workshop. The Uruguayan sculptor Pablo Atchugarry think this place where three showrooms, in two of it are when we visited them was representing the international Biennale of textile art and the other had a sample of the founder (I think it is permanent). Apart in the vast expanse of field there is an exhibition of monumental sculptures by different artists. Also found in the premises Atchubarry workshop. It is ideal to sit on the lawn, relax and take a few mates, enjoying not only works but also of the fauna and flora of the place. The free entrance. Super recommended!

  • Internal installations were closed but you take the field and stop at each work and enjoy it while referred to the well maintained landscape. It is a very nice ride, recommended to go with children also. It has a large stage with all facilities and a large Esplanade, I guess a concert there... total delight.

  • This cute attractive is located in a hidden place in Punta del Este. Although modern art requires interpretation. The landscape and some works that can be seen is very nice. I recommend knowing something of the artist before the place.

  • Obliged place to go more than once. I love your work and the place. I also had the pleasure of crossing two words with Pablo Atchugarry, a simple and very nice person.

  • A place totally magical! A charm to every look. An emotion for each side that look! Beautiful works! Yet we were treated to an artist sculpting your next work. Creepy!

A major vacation destination, Punta del Este boasts a wide range of accommodation options, though most establishments remain relatively expensive even during the off-season. Summer marks the peak of tourism (December to March), and during that time even mid-range hotels charge top rates. Visitors with deeper pockets can choose from a number of three- and four-star hotels within walking distance of good beaches. If you're traveling on a tight budget, consider one of the hostels scattered throughout Punta del Este's residential neighborhoods.
