  • It is a compulsory destination for those who like art. In a natural setting that provides much peace and good energy you can enjoy viewing various works of art of different types and styles not only artist Pablo Atchugarry but other many other parts of the world. Some of them are overseas mixed among nature and others inside the building. It also has a lounge where there are exhibitions of works by invited artists. The met recently and be amazed!

  • Pablo Atchugarry Foundation or international monumental sculpture Park is a non-profit organization established in 2007, with the aim of promoting the integration between nature and art, in all its manifestations. It has a beautiful Lake and a large garden where are exhibited several works. In the summer, at dusk, there is the festival "Music between nature and art". The site relies on the workshop of the sculptor, exhibition halls 3, an auditorium, a restaurant, a dining room for classes of sculpture, painting, drawing, ceramics, and a living room with a permanent collection of Pablo Atchugarry, the founder. Address: Ruta 104, km 4.5 (El Chorro). It's about 4.5 km from the edge of El Chorro. Attention: If you are coming from Montevideo by Ruta 9 will pass by the Foundation before reaching El Chorro. Opening hours: every day from 10 to 21:00 parking: Yes (free) Value: free

  • We could visit the Museum Park and alternate with the same Pablo Atchugarry himself, who signed us pieces of marble as a souvenir.

  • Hermoso paisaje rodeado de magnificas esculturas y obras de arte de diferentes materiales, Pablo Atchugarry es un verdadero maestro del arte de esculpir en marmol.
  • Pablo Atchugarry Foundation makes a compendium of the artistic career of the Uruguayan sculptor, who decided to present in a mesmerizing open space much of his monumental work, and that of others. A few minutes from Punta del Este, road, goes one on a wooded road that slowly reveals an enclosure with modernist architecture, but inside houses the vast work of Atchugarry and friends. There are 3 different areas in the main building, showing plastic art and sculptures, both metal as in marble, Uruguay, Italy and United States. However, the place that attracts and calls the visitor is called sculpture park, which has a lake and a stage for concerts, but mostly monumental works with different techniques and various reasons. This space invites you to walk it, to appreciate the art that can be admired from different angles. The pews arranged throughout the Park are actually observation points proposed by the artist to enjoy the work. I.e. you can see the pieces of art from different places, but to be located in such observation points is revealed precisely the angle and perspective that every artist proposes as the best. Paul, to whom one can refer one familiar after knowing its artistic project, has a Studio at one end of the Park, so it is possible to see it working huge blocks of Italian marble, and if you arrive at the right time is possible to shake her hand and change impressions. Admission is free, and there are different schedules for winter and summer.
