Where to stay in Piriapolis

No one can say for sure what Francisco Pira would have made of the modern development in Piriapolis--but he wanted a beach resort, and he's sure got one. Hotels old and new cling to the beach, offering a variety of facilities including private swimming pools, outdoor dining areas, casinos, and spas. For something a bit quieter, explore the resort-style accommodations in the less built-up areas of the beach. Alternatively, head a bit back from the coast for simpler, modest options.

  • It is a tinny and cozy place. Very tidy and well maintained. You also may enjoy a great view of Piriapolis from there so you should not miss this place (specially at sunset).  more »
  • Well worth a visit. The view from the top is stunning as well as the sunsets one can see. There is also a lovely restaurant and a few small tourist orientated shops to visit.  more »
  • The chapel of St. Anthony has your charm, more what draws attention is the panoramic view magnificent, wonderful, pity that the bus spends little time, we recommend.
