  • Sarandi Street is closed to vehicular traffic and extends over 7 blocks. The trade is varied, with some people selling clothing, books, frames, etc., and on the other hand there are designer shops, cafeterias and restaurants. There are public banks to settle down and admire the move but some restaurants have their own tables and don't like people sitting at the tables of them, without burning anything.

  • Walk in this pedestrian street (peatonal), right in the historic centre of Montevideo is feel the soul of the city in its beginnings. Go at least Ciudadela port until the Church. Shops, restaurants, street artists, galleries, antique ... Very nice during the week. On Sunday it's more quiet, but everything is closed.
