The master Blanes; the "patriotic painter" as it is known; they are large-format, but with excellent brushwork and realistic paintings. Very little to add. You should go see it. Must-see in Montevideo!

This old mansion that houses the Museum of fine arts is far from the center of the city. Pretty good, is preserved above all its oak floors. On the outside, it has a small Japanese garden, designed by a Japanese landscape, which is worth visiting. There are several works of Figari and Cuneo, recognized artists local as well as large paintings, almost murals, that account for the landing of the 33 Orientals.

Wouldn't go again, careless place. Very few works to see and too far. Don't visit
