Maravilhoso museu com um belo acervo. Pouco visitado por turistas já que está um pouco distante do centro e principais atrações. Vale a visita, gratuita.Wonderful Museum with a fine collection. Founded in 1930, the original building was purchased by the municipal government and expanded to be the Museum and, since then, part of the system of museums in the intendancy of Montevideo. Behind the Museum has the beautiful JAPANESE GARDEN. Open from 10 to 6:00 pm. It is close to the Botanical Garden and there is bus line that stops right in front.show original

It's a little more away from other attractions of the city, but worth a visit especially for the Japanese garden at the end of the Museum.
