  • they have an old barn of the port become a sexy place full of color and popular history. They have two platforms where they offer the different manifestations of the famous Uruguayan Carnival. The Murgas with its incredible choirs, fantastic costumes and a boundless passion are the stars of these shows (very cheap tickets). Good place to go with kids! It also eats very well. If you are interested in these topics Claudia and Pablo they devote to good weather and a friendly warmth. Safety pin!

  • Visit Museum with the intention of knowing your scenario and it was really an interesting experience (similar to which one can have in the Konex Center of Buenos Aires) with a show of interesting artists at very economical price and the possibility of eating something. The Museum is basic and possibly without the imprint of Carnival could be even uninteresting. But the Carnival weekends occur there murgas and shows related to the Uruguayan Carnival. One can enjoy a show that can peacefully overcome the 3hours watching shows or enjoying a burger or choripan for about 60$ ury. The prices are cheap and it is located in the Citadel.

  • If you have nothing else to do then by all means visit here. I personally didn't care for it though the staff was very friendly. It's just two rooms and very small.
