  • This is a panoramic elevator located in the Commissariat building. All the guidebooks recommend for being the only panoramic views of the city. It was said that it was better to go inclusive of fourth, opened the night in this day we went on a Monday afternoon and we were informed by the clerk that the elevator was being restored in a long time and it wasn't working. We turned it around in the building and entered the tourist information center where there was a plaque stating that it works only on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a good example of how no one of attention to tourism there. Or employees sat report right. This happened in other places too, so I'm alerting.

  • The site is simple but easy to access and free. The view is really worth. Too bad it only works on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Is a must-see attraction of sleepy Montevideo. We went on a Sunday afternoon (it's good to be aware of the hours and days of operation). The view is amazing, and the panoramic terrace has various boards, with information from the sights of the city. For information on these boards, it is possible to find points of interest, looking from above. Worth visiting!
