  • Landmark of the old city of Montevideo. For eating meat, goat, pamplonas, sausages, etc on the grill. And taste the famous "half and half". And dessert... a Ricky. Beautiful building of iron, many people, live music and joy. Only at lunch time.

  • A very interesting place with a number of restaurants cooking lots of meat. Smells great, costs a lot. The empanada place has great selection and very cheap prices.
  • Very nice place to eat local food, and especially parillas. A lot of souvenir shops are located next to the market.
  • Beautiful place, delicious Uruguayan food.
  • The food at most restaurants is great. A bit too pricey though. Also what's with charging for the silverware!
  • Full of many parrillas, this is a great place to experience the feel of the Montevideo meat culture.
