  • The Plaza of Montevideo is a beautiful square for its gardens. Days on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, there's tango music and you can see many couples happily dancing. Very nice to see. The bad: every day is more full of immigrants sleeping in their seats, which are dirty, with trash cans and asking for money. Worse still, these same immigrants, one side of the plaza has become a real bath public and the place has a fetido urine smell.

  • A square is very emblematic and movida, has a lot of movement of people and is ideal for a drink in the afternoon, as there are several bars nearby. The sculpture that pose (Montevideo) is a unique sculpture in its kind

  • What a nice place! A great option for coffee in the afternoon and rest the legs of walking around town. It's extremely well cared for and very busy. In the heart of the Av 18 de julio. Very nice landscape decoration fountain in perfect harmony with the city. Yields beautiful pictures and restful legs. I took a cup of coffee and ate a nice slice of pie in La Pasiva, which is right in the middle of the square.
