  • The great Central Park is considered a historical setting. Built in 1900, is the second oldest Stadium in America and the 16th worldwide. The Park also hosted the Uruguayan selection, both in soccer and in other disciplines. Since its inception and until the year 1930 was the main sports scene of the Uruguay, so until the inauguration of the Estadio Centenario, the Uruguayan soccer team officiating local at Gran Parque Central. As a fan of national Carlos Gardel attended its grandstands. Without a doubt, a place full of history! As its name implies, it has a CENTRAL location in the city of Montevideo, Uruguay.

  • There he started the history of the world. It is the first World Cup Stadium and was the second to be built (year 1900) in America. Is property of the Club Nacional de Football, one of the 2 teams more large Uruguay and worldwide recognition for its great number of diplomas.

  • The stadium undergoes renovations, but is an icon of Uruguayan football. We went to see 3-1 National River Plate (URU). The national in the field with the crowded Central Park is pure emotion. The crowd sings all the time and the experience is unique.

  • A stadium with lots of history that belongs to one of the oldest uruguayan football teams. Keeps growing every day. Don't forget to visit also the main house or La Sede Central just a few blocks away in 8 de Octubre!!
  • The best stadium that belongs to the best club. Hard to find parking spot during games. Recommended to buy tickets a few days before the game.
  • Is great. .
