#2 of 12 in Parks in Montevideo
Nature / Park
The city's largest public park, El Prado serves as a quiet green space and gathering place away from the bustle of the capital. Spread out over 106 hectares (262 acres), the park plays home to more than 1,000 species of plants, several gardens, and a range of pergolas, monuments, statues, and other landmarks. Go for a stroll through its expansive grounds, following the bank of the Miquelete Creek surrounded by palm trees and other native foliage. Bring a picnic to enjoy a meal in the great outdoors, or simply kick back and watch locals go by. Where to stay in Montevideo

Montevideo's central neighborhoods offer plenty of hostels for budget-minded travelers, as well as a good selection of mid-range hotels for visitors looking for a bit more space and privacy. Luxury rooms are harder to come by, especially if you arrive without a reservation. If you want to indulge your every desire, your best bet is the waterfront area, where you can find four- and five-star hotels offering all the modern amenities you need, including complimentary bicycles and car rental services.

  • Price according to the quality of the dishes, the attention is regular but acceptable, a place acceptable, can greatly improve. The three stars are because they accept only cash, they do not accept debit still.

  • There are a lot dirt thing that should not be allowed at a local food... And another thing qun much caught my attention that the date at which are 21/03/2017 House does not accept neither credit nor debit cards! Thing you can do, since the debit is required today to all trades.
