  • A small and friendly place! Guided tour by Marcos Carrau, the tenth generation of the family, which is very attentive, explains and shows the entire process of wine production and tasting of 4 wines at the end-all great! Recommend!!

  • My wife and I have visited many wineries in Brazil, Argentina and United States, but I can assure you that the visit to Bodegas Carrau in Cerro Hat was unforgettable! Besides the natural beauty of the region, of great wines that Carrau introduced us, we also had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Francisco Carrau, which introduced us to the winery and gave us a lesson in how to make fine wine. A wise and generous man, with a unique ability in wine production. Congratulations to the whole family Carrau!

  • The aggression and the tourist appeal of the latest developments, the very perception of Uruguayans who talk may imply a certain tone of decadence. However one has to respect the history of Carrau and wish that the brothers who today manage the enterprise (unfortunately one of them, suffered a serious accident in deals of the winery, which makes, including that your brother divide your attention, very understandably, among the company's care and the care his brother) rediscover the brilliance that was already quite strong among his countrymen. We were very well received, although no schedule visit and we had the opportunity of tasting fortified wine of quality.

  • They answered the phone with a bad attitude, then put us on eternal hold... Going to Bouza instead.
  • They have a tasting of wines with cold service. A tour by the wine cellar with explanations of a winemaker. one day I'll go. Excellent ride for who appreciates a good wine
