  • We were accompanied by winemaker Carolina on tour. Enjoy the drums and the process of encapsulating and labelling of bottles. The tour is short and let's go tasting q can be the classic (30 dollars) and premium ($ 60 wines reserves). We chose each sample a so way more wines because the idea was to buy tbem. We love the experience. At the end we bought a bottle of the first crop of award-winning AMAT of 1998 (1400 pesos) and we were taking on the porch for over 1 hour. Great experience for wine lovers. We made good purchases. They have tax free and pays off even more. The winery produces great wines. If you enjoyed this review, a useful vote and help improve more and more.

  • We've been in wineries in Europe, USA and other countries in South America but the visit was special because it was Carrau received by one of the owners, Mr Ignacio Carrau, a very nice and great conversation, so much so that we were there for over 3:00. As in some other wineries, the visit is held with few people (in this case just us 2) which makes it more intimate and less commercial, do you appreciate those with purely commercial focus. Anyway, an experience not to be missed for those who is in Uruguay.

  • They answered the phone with a bad attitude, then put us on eternal hold... Going to Bouza instead.
  • Great Winery. Historical and with high quality products. Very nice and close to the city. The visit is worthwhile.
