  • As a Uruguayan citizen, it was very interesting to learn more about the old town and its beginnings. Our guide was entertaining and very well informed. Both I liked the tour that temrine buying a book on the history of Montevideo city. Day Saturday have tours of various parts of the old town, where you can see sections of the old wall that was part of the fortification of the city in colonial times.

  • It is worth making a visit by one of the few places where they explain about the history of the colonial Montevideo. Carefully, with good guides. You can tour in family, with friends or alone. It is part of the visit "from cube to cube" which is the first Saturday of each month.

  • There is a good restoration of what was left of the wall of Montevideo and their historical representation. Pity the disposition of the Guide, at the time he was doing the visit disrespected you to several of my colleagues. Lack of patience, a pity because the place is very nice.

  • Section of wall. Remains of a section of the escarpment between the battery of San Pascual and el Portón de San Pedro, are visible on the grounds of Bartolomé Mitre n ° 1464 (Cultural space at the foot of the wall).

  • From the feature well made by journalist of the program "Without borders", VTV, assume the need to visit this great undertaking, showing our city, from its birth. It is notorious that lack appropriate dissemination. Congratulations on the sample.
