  • It is worth making a visit by one of the few places where they explain about the history of the colonial Montevideo. Carefully, with good guides. You can tour in family, with friends or alone. It is part of the visit "from cube to cube" which is the first Saturday of each month.

  • There is a good restoration of what was left of the wall of Montevideo and their historical representation. Pity the disposition of the Guide, at the time he was doing the visit disrespected you to several of my colleagues. Lack of patience, a pity because the place is very nice.

  • This is a small cultural space, that besides having a part of the ancient city wall, and tell various details about this, there are other exhibitions as pictures, and workshops. When we were the only visitors and Carlos did a tour despite not being the time that, is sympathetically told us stories, until we've chatted a little. The entrance is cheap, 50 pesos. I highly recommend.

  • Section of wall. Remains of a section of the escarpment between the battery of San Pascual and el Portón de San Pedro, are visible on the grounds of Bartolomé Mitre n ° 1464 (Cultural space at the foot of the wall).

  • From the feature well made by journalist of the program "Without borders", VTV, assume the need to visit this great undertaking, showing our city, from its birth. It is notorious that lack appropriate dissemination. Congratulations on the sample.
