  • It is worth knowing, the Arequita Hill, with its cave and his mystique. I've been many times and always I come back renewed energy of the place, understanding a little more thanks to the dedication so they take care of this environment and its wealth. Metres later the Arequita parador on the headwaters of the Santa Lucia to enjoy an excellent cuisine and warm attention, in addition to being an economical and accessible, place serving dishes with fresh and selected ingredients of craftsmanship.

  • The place is unique in the country, 2 are guided tours per day was one of the 3 caves of arequita, the guide explains from where comes the name and many historical data more than one or imagines. It is not only the experience of being in that cave or Grotto but what one learns about the place and its e. The only problem I saw is that it is an activity for adults. Children are bored or afraid in the dark and cry, which can not make noise or turn on a light, removing a bit of grace. I repeat, I do not recommend to go with children, they spend a hard time and adults may not enjoy full place. Best regards.

  • Excellent place for half day ride. The Hill is about 10 or 15 kilometers from mines, the route is in acceptable condition. The main attraction of the Hill is the cave with bats. Since long time is to aggregate infrastructure to be able to have lunch and then make the guided tour to the cave. Keep in mind that the tours are conducted on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11 to 16 approximately. If you follow the road that passes by the entrance to the Hill about 3 or 4 kilometers more, you reach the headwaters of the Rio Santa Lucia
