I know many places in Uruguay. I was very impressed to find this Museum in a place away, but with technology. Congratulations to the Uruguayan Government for investment. The person who stays at the Museum gave us a real history lesson. The place is charming. Too bad we didn't know, but I recommend you take snack and stay there for a few hours. For each side that look, we have a new and beautiful landscape

Historical place for our border with Brazil. Very useful at the time. Very well preserved and with furniture and characteristic elements of his time. Very well represented the grocery store, it is a trip to the past. Surrounded by outstanding nature, accompanying the bridge with their breaks and the chain that served as a toll road. Very interesting to visit it with children, so that they appreciate and know our history.

On my first visit (year 2013) to this historic place found me fascinating, there were mannequins representing the toll workers and travelers with their errands, any child could understand some of the actions that is made at that time, the Museum had so many weapons, clothes, tools, etc, was an entertaining ride trying to understand how they used certain things. 2017 returned to visit the old toll but I had warned that it had remodeled, also I went with enthusiasm because it is a beautiful place, but what I found there was no or similar to the old Museum, to start many of the spaces before longer is could visit already not is could enter, the places that is could access is reduced to 60% bone there is almost nothing to go the antiques that formerly covered the walls changed them by monitors and useless projectors or want dan to hear what historians have in videos, the audio is impossible but impossible to hear, believe that there happened the famous maldicon of malinche, but nationally, speaking of the country, were to Exchange gold for glass. It is painful to see that they took everything.
