Playa de Jose Ignacio, Jose Ignacio

(360+ reviews on the web)
Meander along the fine white sands of Playa de Jose Ignacio, an attractive strip of coastline offering a range of restaurants and services. Music and revelry spill out from beachside clubs, which serve as good spots to grab an evening refreshment. Popular with families, the beach offers enough space for those who want to participate in a range of water sports, as well as others who'd prefer to lay back and catch the sun's rays . Cool off in the clear waters, the head back to land to visit the lighthouse that looks out across the bay. • José Ignacio is a fishing village that became exclusive place of the Uruguayan coast. Everything is harmonious and pleasant. It is a unique place!

  • It is a small seaside resort in Maldonado, South Atlantic, waters cold, but beautiful, there are two beaches, a brava wave which is more East, ideal for surfing and a gentle Bay to the other side of the lighthouse which is a pool of crystalline waters my favorite. Appears at the end of the world but it is about 30 minutes from Punta del Este on Route 10 that goes all along the coast by which a walk is to enjoy it.

  • As all the beaches of the East Uruguayan, José Ignacio is not far behind. Beach wide sand and clear waters invite you to take a break. Also this close to tip of the people Garzon as well as the bridge over the laguna Garzón, which separates / attached to the departments of Maldonado and Rocha.
