  • During carnival week, went one day make Beach in Jose Ignacio. We stopped in front of La Huella. It is a privileged place, despite being too full, the beach was wonderful as always. Beautiful view of Punta, with good waves and spectacular bath.

  • We arrived in a very seductive and sophisticated town with many low houses and colours that rest us view. A place where Queen harmony and peace. José Ignacio must its name to a poblador that lived there in the time of the conquest Spanish. In the tip of the peninsula and in a zone Rocky between the village and the beach this the lighthouse, symbol of the place, that carries the same name, and was built in 1877. With a height of 32.5 meters, its geographical scope is 16.5 miles, and its light range is 9 miles.  It is a seaside resort where tranquillity and peace are only interrupted by the wind.  Jose Ignacio is between two lagoons, the Garzon and the José Ignacio. Surrounded by water, is also an ideal place for fishing costa and boarding, so that in its gastronomic offer day fish, shellfish and seaweed can be enjoyed at any hour.  The beach is 2 km and is of waters calm and crystal clear. It is ideal to traverse walking because it is not on a slope as the Brava and the Mansa. Close by there is an area of farms with luxury infrastructure and secluded beaches that extend towards the East, to the laguna Garzón.
