  • A small square with huge historical value added for being the place where departed the Artigas which resulted in the liberation of Uruguay. Is next to the ancient wall that defended the city and the famous door of the old town. There is also a tourist information point with people so ready to help you in what you are needing. A place for a quick passage for a historic photo in Colonia del Sacramento, in Uruguay.

  • It is a small square at the entrance of the historic district, just before the historic gate. It is a meeting point. There is a tourist office and several places to buy souvenirs.

  • Linda plazoletita we stumbled upon it after crossing the gate of the Citadel. You can rest in the shade, there are public baths and an office of tourism as well as some local souvenirs and stock up on drinks and food.
