Architectural Building
Meander through the grounds of a presidential residence at Parque Anchorena. Designed by German landscape gardener and architect Hermann Botrich, the 1,369 hectare (3,383 acre) gardens display more than 200 tree and shrub species, including a pleasant variety of evergreen trees, first planted on the plot in 1908. Once the stomping ground of Argentine aristocrat and landowner Don Aaron de Anchorena, the park was donated to the Uruguayan state, and opened to the public in 1990. You can take a tour through the main house, which now serves as a presidential retreat. • Very important is to be punctual, since if you arrive 5 minutes later let you enter. They are extremely strict with the schedule. I spend a day arrive 5 minutes past the time of the entry and I was told that could not give me the ride pirque were extremely strict with the schedule. Consult timetables and are 30 minutes hantes!
