  • A farm museum! For all lovers of the Record Guinness, and collectors. Here we have the biggest collection of pencils for several years! We know the history, and also see many references. They are several collections and they are always being updated. Then we can taste jams, to choose whether we want to take some home. There is a lot of variety and all delicious. There are also macrobiotic and other products. It adds also a dining room, plus all the typical environment of "Farm". It boasts SSHH available to the public, without the need for consumption. Care is very good, even the owner, Don Arenas, often delight us with an anecdote and its good humor always! It is the ideal place for a stopover en route, to rest and stock up on good sweets.

  • We were a November Monday evening, we took a walk through the Museum that has various collection objects which highlights the collection of pencils that holds several Guinness records. After a brief tour, because it was closing time, we headed for the business where they sell jams, sweets and cheeses. Coincidentally helpful don Emilio Arenas, who told us his story of personal and family life. A person who shows their passion for their varied collections and the pride of their children and grandchildren. It spoke to us of their trips, the difficulties that have to be recognized by the Uruguayan Government and the Uruguayan culture. The Museum is worth visiting with young children, does not take much time to explore it. I recommend it if you are in auto and intends to mix the visit of an exotic collections Museum and taste delicious marmalades and cheeses as well as also buy takeaway gift. I don't know if it would pay a tour to visit but for us it was a very beautiful experience to learn the history of this Uruguayan passion.

  • The place is a Museum of collections, which began with the pencil, even is in the Guinness Book. It also has collections of various objects such as key chains, matchboxes, perfume bottles, etc, all very well organized. There's also a cheese shop, candy produced in the farm. Admission is free.
