  • We went to Juanico with great expectation, are $110 per person. Confirmed quality wines, but the food bad eh. Doesn't match the gastronomic Uruguayan tradition (one of the plates, amazingly, was pasta with minced meat ...). But the worst was at the time to pay. Have a Uruguayan law tax VAT return for tourist who pays by credit card. But they are not registered as a restaurant, but as a winery, and there was no return. The attendant was rude and gave excuse that were regularizing the situation. In bodega Bousa, besides the excellent food, the VAT refund. That is, run from Juanico.

  • Passing in front of the bodega, we discovered this place special. We were very well received by the Manager Wilson and the sommelier Gisele. The lunch was great and harmonisation was perfect. I loved go choose the wine in the cellar family staff. Totally recommend!!!

  • Unfortunately you can't compare with the Bodega Bouza. The experience, though similar (visit, wine tasting, lunch), is very different, because it's simpler, more rustic, intimate, and everything that even much better. The environment resembles a film scenario. People who attend have the friendliness and cordiality injected in the blood. The location, the food and wine are simply fantastic. Totally worth the penalty out of Montevideo and drive up there. I will be back for sure!

  • Great winery, with a real history. The tour of the winery and the wine tasting were great. The wine tasting was especially good, we could choose a bottle in the winery cellar!
  • Very beautiful place, great service from the staff. The wines are very good. Do take the tour.
  • Beautiful antique place. A little too commercial to my taste - tourists come by the buses. If you want to take the tour, without tasting, without having to make an advanced reservation and pay, try to join one of the tours in progress. Not guaranteed.
  • Thanks Juanico to greet us every day, our audience is amazed by the proposal and happy place. #loscaminosdelvinodeuruguay #senderosdeltannat #enoturimo
