A church that one must visit for being the classic of Atlantis. It does not have a typical architecture but it is very entertaining.

Place of worship and national heritage for its architecture. It is recommended to visit it on the day of the heritage or with guided tour to understand the details. Easy to reach.

Interesting building, famous Uruguayan Engineer. Around the world they will visit. It is very often open. Not far from the Interbalnearia and route 11, by which one goes to ir, is all very well to navigate.

The Cristo Obrero parish shows in all its splendor the art of architect Eladio Dieste, built in 1960. It's a construction of walls and corrugated roofs, made completely of bricks on sight, without columns or beams, has a tower of 15 meters high with openwork walls. In its interior there is a Christ carved in wood which was made by the sculptor Eduardo Díaz Yepes and a block of raw Green Granite altar. This construction is part of the national heritage.

An outstanding work of Eladio Dieste. The use of brick, the curves, the amplitude of spaces make it one of the jewels of architecture in Uruguay. It is easy to visit from Montevideo or the coast. You could take care removing posts with cables and creating a clearance in front of the Church to be able to see it better.

Beautiful building in Estacion Atlantida, one of the works that has left Dieste in these parts...
